Yesterday, all of the North Coast HWP cars started using "North 6xx"
numbers.
We had a troop of something like 300 Rebels MCC riders pass through.
Accompanied by a police escort.
Was a slew of visiting HWP cycles in the area, too.

Today, the locals reverted to their old 2xx numbers.
I know they were using the new numbers as I am familiar with some
voices....and one bloke, accidently used his old number after a
scuffle with a customer. (not a Rebel)

Cycles seem to be here, still...."Traffic" callsigns.

I guess the standard numbering system helped with co-ordination??

I think I did hear an "operation camira" reference by an OSG vehicle.
At least, I think that's what they said.

North Callsigns were last time I heard VKG meant cars allocated to the North
Roads Operation which I only thought was in the holidays...

They may have used them as callsigns for the operation for allocation
purposes on CAD or something like that..

Me, too.

Am guessing the Rebels invasion was the subject of a special op.
Intrigued by the use of 680 and 690 numbers, though.
Possibly for consistency and to avoid confusion.

Had a Forensic unit sign on a little while ago.
Confused everyone by using a "Traffic" callsign.
Corrected himself when told CAD didn't recognise him.

Am guessing all sorts were seconded to the operation.
