The electro-luminescent panel is no longer available as a spare part. But
there are instructions on the net that show how to replace the light and you
can even find replacement kits on eBay.

the panels are available from the US and come up on the US Ebay quite often
I have one that I imported though not from Ebay
price was quite reasonable, about $5AUD

to make them last do not use the dimmer function
