Have heard an occasional reference on VKG to something that sounds
like "driblic". No doubt it isn't spelled like that.

Sounds like a database of some kind.

Any clues as to what it is?

hmm,

afaik the only databases that are accessible for common checks are

cni
rta
ils
and any interstate databases but i think they all link through rta anyway

there are specialised databases used by different squads but i doubt vkg
disptachers are going to have access to those as it would contain intel that
you just could not broadcast over the air..

Must listen more closely and see if I can pick up a context.
Kinda recall "checked it on driblic, too".

What's "Perfind", then?
I thought that was a database.

Could it be DrivLic (drivers license) you're hearing?

Just a guess.

yep i'd say Mike Alpha has hit the nail on the head with that one

PERFIND is a process name that is run on the Police system when someone
wants a cni check done on a poi they have with them or for whatever reason.

So....Perfind isn't a database in itself?

nope PERFIND is a process that has hooks that look into the various
databases eg ILS, RTA etc then I believe if the VKG Dispatcher wants to look
into a persons driving history they go into the RTA option which then hooks
into that persons details on RTA system etc

Stupid comments like that only encourage 'attacks'.
Poor diddums - we are all out to get you Andrew.

Even when you're being helpful, you still manage to ruin it by being a
