Well the irony of the advert is, its a re-programming pack which one would
assume means your going to get CPS Software with it.

Guess what, you have to buy that from Motorola direct even though his advert
clearly says re-programming pack

well thats what i thought, so i dropped this guy an email from ebay and here
is what he had to say

-- Start

where does it say i am selling the cps.
i am only selling the hardware usb cable and a cd clearly marked DRIVER FOR
USB.
there is no software therefore not violating any copyright laws and
regulations
ebay would have removed it otherwise.

i dont even have the cps let alone sell it.

So the ad is false then.
It is a programming cable not a programming kit.

eheh exactly, and i mean i've heard of putting markup on products but that
amount is just stupid.

Then I just checked his postage which is $30 odd dollars as well...

So if my maths is correct i'd be able to purchase 8 programming cables, and
8 usb leads for the same price this guy is charging one for..

No, that's just Kenna being his usual stupid self.

The ad clearly states what is included - Kenna seems to have a beef with the
seller, he has been blasting him on several forums. Kenna should simply stop
making stupid assumptions.

I can't stand arrogance and stupidity - two things you seem to be really
good at.

It's ironic you call me a stalker - you have been posting on several forums
about this eBayer, following his every move, reporting all his auctions to
eBay, making posts claiming how everything he does is illegal.

Now that eBay will no longer remove his ads when you report him - because
they can see that he appears to be doing nothing illegal and have figured
you are simply a nutter with no clue - you bring your beef to this
newsgroup.

So who is the stalker again?

Assumptions are why people like you make the same mistakes over and over and
over.... The ad specifically states what is included - if you can't be
bothered to read that and ASSUME that it comes with CPS, then so be it.

His auction does not state 'Re-programming PACK', it clearly says
'Re-programming KIT'. You are more of a belter that the seller Kenna!

Pagey,
So your not interested in taking advantage of the bargain I posted here
for those serious radio enthusiasts
So in one post you claim the seller is making a massive markup on the item
and ripping people off, and now you say his item is a bargain? Hmm... either
you two-faced, or simply stupid.

Regardless, this is aus.radio.scanner - if you were aiming for "serious
radio enthusiasts" there are far more relevant groups.

Hi Crew,

Came across this beauty and wanted to share it:

The boyfriend wasn't smart enough to work it out within an hour of
opening the box, hmm can anyone confirm if that are is digital these
days? I am presuming it is and they didn't realise this until it was
purchased, and now they won't get their refund so they're trying to
flog it off on eBay.

The sites they link to asking you to check if your area is digital are
outdated and don't contain anything about the digital technology.
Gotta love the way this one has been advertised.

I mean, if the description was correct and my above theory is
incorrect not working it out within an hour is fair enough but to
spend money buying it to not spend time learning how it works is just
stupid.

Anyone got any others?

Mick
