Any flights to Perth ?

I have a Bearcat scanner and love listening to air traffic on it.
Surprisingly though, I can never pick up any traffic flying from and over Adelaide to Perth. Why is this so. and can anyone give me any frequencies that I can pick them up. Thanks.

part of the reason for not hearing Comms in the audio mode, is that with ASD-B on all aircraft that are IFR and opperating in Class A airspace, don't reallt talk directly to ATC. The CPDL set up on the FMS means that text messages are sent between Aeros and ATC. The airspace being vast means that there is no need to continually talk to flight crews as in the older days. The repeaters are there of course and the following list will cover the YMMM SY-PH sectors.
